    Orchid blooming

    OOh that one is a beauty. My vandas havent bloomed in a while. Your is looking nice, such amazing flowers.

    My favorite vandas are the tessellated ones, like this one. This is my only one like this though - I have two others, one spotted and one solid color.

    I dig contrasts and patterns, so this one with the white background and heavy dark veining is perfect for me. If I got another, I would seek out a white background with the darkest tessellation pattern I can find. Thin lines are better in my book also.

    As all of you who keep orchids know, pictures just don't capture the sparkle and true colors of these flowers. This one is no exception.

    Oh those are sooo pretty!!! They are my absolute favorite flower! And thus far, the only one I'm not severely allergic to

    I'm with you on that one! I have the thumb of death! I have found one plant I can keep alive, can you guess....yep a cactus. I forgot to water them for a month, but they are still kickin!
