cleaning with young ones in tub

Has anyone had any issues with the females not accepting the youngs back after a cleaning of the tub ! just worried if i clean the tub that the female might stop caring for her little ones ! the fuzzies are around 11 days old !

I would just clean around the nest or pick the whole nest up and put it very safely somewhere else while you're cleaning. It definitely depends on the female, though. One of mine is very trusting and doesn't at all mind me touching the babies, while the other gets defensive. If she's defensive, the best thing to do is take her out of the cage first and put her somewhere where she can't see you touching the nest, and then just clean around it. Good luck!

At 11 days you are probably fine, I don't mess with them too much the first 3-4 days but after that I just move some nest material with them or clean around them.
