Locking Clips

Has anyone used the following locking clips from Zilla and if so, will these suffice for 20G long and 9 month old BP? (I'm using a Zilla screen top)

* I'm thinking 4 of these clips, one at each corner.

I'm presently using two of the non-locking clips, one centered at each end, but I'm not real confident that this will do the trick.

At some point I'll be upgrading to a 30G Critter Cage with the locking screen top but I'm not quite ready for that yet so I need a secure solution for my current setup.

the second ones suck! I had em did not like em when i had a tank

Yeah, I'd have to concur with that. It's not ideal but I may have to toss some 5LB dumbell plates on the top (along with the clips) until I can either get the locking clips or some other solution.

i just switched to tubs

Life has been easier since then haha

Zilla 'Tough Top' clips are actually a very good choice for BP tanks. I use two (on on the left front and one on the right back) for each tank and they have held from hatchlings to a 2300g+ female bent on finding a way out.
