    Re: Wieght question

Its a little bit small but sounds fine. Normally most female snakes are about 1500g when they are 2 years old.

This doesn't mean your snake is under weight though. Some just grow a little slower then others. If she looks healthy and plump then she is fine.

What are you feeding her and how often? I feed my 1000g snakes a small rat weekly to give you an idea

Depends on how you feed as well as how your ball eats.
It's not abnormal for a female ball python to be about 1000g @ 2 years. A female fed somewhat vigorously can hit 1000g in a year or 1 1/2 years. It should realy take a female about 3 years to hit 1500-2000g for her to breed. Not 1100-1500g in a year.

We have 08 females that are in the 350g range as well as 09s in the 350g range and they eat when ever they are hungry/ or will accept food. So really it can depend on the snake.

    Re: Wieght question

I would feed a medium rat every ten days at 1000 grams!
