    Trusted Breeders

Hello there First let me introduce myself. My name is Roger and i got my First BP for Christmas and now i want some more preferably some variety. I live in WA and all the pet stores near me dont have much for variety of Morphs and Colors. I was wondering what would be the best course of action to getting a New Albino BP. Is buying online a good idea or should i expand more and drive to a bigger City and look around
    Thanks

    Re: Trusted Breeders

i would start with the classifieds. its one way to find a breeder in your area. me personally, when it comes to basement breeders i don't like to buy something unless i can hold in my hands first. ( not to say their aren't top notch basement breeders out there. after all they have to start somewhere. just that i need to get to meet them first to be able to judge them fairly) however there are some big breeders that have built a great reputation on dependability and customer service as well as great quality reptiles.
also you can check the fauna board of inquiry to check for peoples rep

You should see if there is any reptile shows in your area. You can get great deals and see what you are buying! Online is fine! I would go with breeders that are near where you live that way they aren't in shipping too long! I would recommend BHB in Michigan. Brian is great! Also Ralph Davis is great too!

I would say look for any reptile shows in your area. Even if you have to drive a few hours. If you can't find any shows, then ask around. Where do you buy your rodents? Maybe you could ask them if they know of any breeders. If not, then you're going to have to go to kingsnake.com or faunaclassifeds.com and buy from one of the breeders there.

Ask around, word of mouth may be your best bet. Hopefully you can find someone close by and find your albino.

    Good Luck!

    Re: Trusted Breeders

Well I would agree with everyone on trying to find a show in your area nothing beats seeing what your buying right there in front of you and as for fauna and kingsnake make sure to try look around the boi and look up who your buying from to make sure you can trust them as for trusted breeders that I've personally got my snakes from with no problems at al are bhb, evan stahl, mike wilbanks, tim koppenhofer of special k reptiles and outback reptiles. Tim is a great guy and could never go wrong doing business with him if he happens to have what your looking for.

    Hope that helps any,

    Chris
