Re: spotnose? (yea i know, another one)
Spotnose ball pythons are used to make power balls, so no, they are not just a fancy normal.
That does not look like a spotnose to me. Just a nice looking normal.

Re: spotnose? (yea i know, another one)
Not a spotnose, but it may be one of the other decreased melanin morphs. Like a fire or vanilla. Once again, no one will say it is or isnt before it is bred and proved out.
I have 2 vanillas at this point but only one is a proven vanilla. The other is a captive hatched twin to the first in looks, pattern, color, everything but I could never try to market her as a vanilla until I breed her and prove it. If a snakes genetic background is unknown all you can do is get some opinions as to what it may be and then choose future breeding plans that will prove this out.
Good luck with your new one. It is defiantely a beauty and my opinion is that it may very well turn out to be one of the two morphs I named here. The skull pattern on the head and the lip spots is what makes me think this but it is missing the mustache of a vanilla. Only breeding will tell

Re: spotnose? (yea i know, another one)
Hi,
As people have said it's not unusual for normals to have those boogers.
Heres is one I hatched in 2008.

If you look at spotnoses the nose spot they talk about is in the middle of the nose not off to the sides and they are only part of the pattern chracteristics. (er I think. )
