All my snakes either sleep in their hides or smushed in the back corner of the tub.

I doubt they are uncomfortable if that is how they choose to sleep.

My het for Pied female flips her waterbowl upside down and sleeps with her head on top of the waterbowl. It's like she's using the waterbowl for a pillow.

I've stopped trying to keep water in her bowl. I give her fresh water 3 days a week and then only for a few hours. She drinks, then I remove the water and put it back in her tub, upside down for her.

    They are some interesting animals!

Ive got a couple that sleep with their head straight up and angled funny along the side of the tub. I have one that balances herself on the tiny ledge where the latch use to be for the tub lid. Im not sure how she does it being as fat as she is but I just figure they do whatever they think is comfortable lol

BG doesn't know if you've heard this yet, but they've invented heavy water bowls. They're called Crocks.

Nope, nothing but Stainless Steel for my snakes. Too many chemicals in the making of these ceramic bowls. Just my opinion.

Are you making a stand that when those bowls were made it was bad for the environment(can respect that)....or do you believe chemical residue from the pots is bad for the snakes(don't understand this one)?
