    hearing

K so I know snakes don't have ears like we do, and I also know that they hear from vibrations in the ground/air that travel up there spine and into there inner ear and that's hearing to them ( I think someone correct my 10 minutes of googling if I missed something.)

My question, I've read that some snakes get uncomfortable if they are in high traffic areas of a house, is this because of the noise? Just curious because I turned my radio on the other day late at night and Medusa went back into her hide.... It was VERY loud and I turned it down after but was just curious....

In a high traffic area, they can see people going by all the time and it startles them. They can also feel your foot steps! She went in her hide during loud music because that is where she feels secure!
