Hey guys! I'm new here with questions. First off.. I have 1 female and 2 male ball pythons & an albino corn snake. Back in 2004 my female laid eggs, I incubated them and 5 out of the 6 hatched.

Well... yesterday she laid 7 eggs. This was a total suprise because we did not plan this breeding, no lowering of temps or doing anything special. I put them in the incubator and the darn thing failed! So the eggs temp dropped.. I'm not sure how long they went down to room temp for..Not good, I know! But my Dad is in the hospital right now & I did not catch it. I tried keeping them to temp by keeping the container with the substraite & eggs in the snake inclosure under the heat lamp until I get my incubator going again. The temp is staying at a steady 88 right now.
I was wondering if anyone had experience with incubators failing and if so did they end up hatching? How long can the temp drop without causing damage?? I know they were never over the prime temp range.. just under.

Thanks!!
