    whew! did you feel that?

I'm in the OC and things were swayin' pretty heavily here... some big waves in the fish tank, but no damage, thankfully.

Yup! I felt it. It went on for a few minutes and it felt to us like the house was floating and rocking back and fourth on waves. Kinda a weird one

Apparently some folks even felt it here in Phoenix, I didn't though.

I live way up in San Fran, so we didn't feel anything here... but my brother lives in San Diego, and texted me right after it happened. He said a large painting fell off the wall, and his girlfriend was pretty scared - otherwise they're fine.

I was in the movie theater watching Clash of the Titans and I thought it was wierd to feel rumbling after all the action scenes were over then realized it was a mild quake. We are a long way from Mexico to feel anything so I knew it must have been very powerful down there.

yeah, it was revised to a 7.2 or 7.3--a pretty huge quake, no doubt. it would be quite an odd feeling to be in a theater watching clash of the titans when a big quake hit.

Yeah, I bet! I was just shy of 13 (3 days before my birthday) when the Loma Prieta hit, and we were only ~30 miles from the epicenter... I still remember the shaking like it was yesterday, and that was .1 smaller than this Baja quake. Thankfully it doesn't look like much damage occurred, since it was centered in a remote area.
