b series motor, large turbo, and one of the best tuners tuning and driving the car. I cant give out any specs as its not my car but a member in my crews and he does have grudge races with this car for money. Track only. But lets just say it is quite fast and has a lot of the tri state area guys scared to race it. We went 10.9 at 105 getting on and off the gas and shifting like g ma. heres a video of it..also the front is the jojo one piece front end. car is also stock tranny and it deff doesnt like the power being thrown at it.

Isn't FWD kind of...um...problematic for drag racing in terms of actually putting the power down? As soon as you start accelerating, the car's weight shifts to the rear, causing a loss of traction up front, right? That, and with a gigantic turbo like that, don't you end up with massive torque steer problems, again due to the FWD?

Seems like you'd be better off to start out with an AWD or RWD car. Mitsu Eclipse GS-R, Nissan 300ZX TT, something like that. Granted, you'll pay more for the base car than a Civic, but then you'd be starting off with a performance car rather than turning an economy compact into something it was never intended to be.

Of course, if the last half of that last sentence describes exactly what's most fun for you, then more power to you and have a blast.

thats something that i like about fwd drag racing... it takes a lot more build to get a car that is fwd to go sub 10...

thats why im not a big fan of all those trash talking people with muscle cars with a carb and maybe a supercharger.... talking smack... but to achive what they achieve with that, tuners have to do a lot of mods... if you put a built b18c5 in a conversion to rwd civic or something crazy like that i would go alot faster

yes rwd and awd are better platforms to start with. we like a challenge so we mainly do fwd cars. all motor, nitrous, turbo you name it theres a car with it in our crew. we also have awd cars as well. It takes much more to build a fast turbo fwd car then say a fast camaro. the car as you can see ran 10.9 at 105 spining, missing third,on and off the gas and letting off completely. anyone that knows about racing knows how hard it is to go 10s let alone at 105. high hp fwd cars take some seat time to get use to. not every1 can just jump in a fwd car or any car for that matter and drive it to a good time on the track. seat time and a good set up is what will get you to go fast. it also helps to have deep pockets haha

    Looks good.

I've run a few of my wee imports down the track.

My newest car is a land barge, so it doesn't qualify as compact, but she should still be fun.
