    Rack/Tub Ventilation

Ok Guy and Gals... My rack from RBI arrived today testing with thermostat right now. But my question is what about ventilation.. I know that i suppose make few hole (i think soldering iron gonna be the best) but question is how many?? how many is to many how many is not enough...

Tubs are 32qt size substrate Sani-Chips....around 1 inch thick layer water bowls 5-7 inches wide... I'm asking because I wanna have everything done perfect (or close to perfection) before my snakes arrive... First pick up on White Plains show April 18th.... next week after

Thanks for every word of Wisdom!!!

    Re: Rack/Tub Ventilation

Start with about 5-10 holes on each side of the tub. Put the tub in the rack (substrate and water bowl) and test the humidity, if it is too high, then make more holes.

It all depends on the humidity in your area. People in Florida will obviously need more holes in their tubs then people in New York

I use these exact racks , I put 10 total across the front and the same on the back.
