Newbie with a question
Hi,
I have had my new Ivory girl for two weeks now. She is my first snake.
She is doing great and has eaten one f/t mouse every week. I noticed on sunday she is getting ready to shed. Her eyes are clouded over. My question is. Do I try to feed her in this condition? I have been feeding her every thursday night.
Thanks
Christine

Re: Newbie with a question
some will eat when they're in shed and some won't. Since you're feeding f/t and theres no chance that the mouse will harm her (zombie mice??? ) I'd say try its worth a shot!!

You could just wait a couple of days until the eyes clear back up and then offer a meal...

Oh the only other thing is she has aspen so I normally feed her outside of her cage so she doesnt get it in her mouth.

No need to do this. Some would say you add much more stress by moving the snake from one place to another. a little aspen in the mouth isn't bad.
Good Luck!

I offer many animals food when they are in shed.. some eat some don't over time you learn which animals are little chainsaws and which one like to see their food. No harm in trying she may just surprise you..
