head shyness?

is it normal for my ball python to not be head shy at all when i handle him?

Sometimes they're less head-shy than others. I have some adults who won't even let you go near their heads, and others, both hatchlings and adults that don't seem to mind at all.

Each ball python is different, and if your husbandry is spot on, then you just have a gentle snake.

Some can be good with it, I have only ever had two like that.

oh cool thanks guys, this site is like amazing haha, seriosuly ive been so paranoid cause my last BP died of some nervous virus and I've just been staying really on top of my new one jsut to make sure all is well and this sites been a big help

Nah, not being head-shy, as far as I is not a symptom for any virus.

Things like star-gazing, spinning, trouble breathing, and popping noises are all some good symptoms of common and uncommon viruses/infections.

Yours is just a gentle snake.
