Dr. Scott Stahl, DVM in MD is arguably the top herp vet in the country.
There's a link in laws and legislation though that you might want to look at. Be right back and will post it.

Out of curiosity, what subject does your teacher teach? I find it hard to believe any teacher in any field related to biology would believe any of that garbage even if they had a general understanding of the physiology of tropical reptiles... Heck, I have a hard time trying to figure out how anyone who has a brain might think a tropical reptile species could survive in temperate environments that drop below freezing at any point during the year.
