I recently picked up an (assumed) male nic from a gentleman who was going overseas to serve another tour in Afghanistan. He could no longer keep the animal and his wife was not very partial to it.
The animal is at least 6 years old, male based on size and body condition (about 4 feet long). He has not been offered food with me yet but i will update this post when i feed him. Im trying to line up a good home for him.
He does seem to have a typical nic attitude. A lot of hissing especially in the cage. A lot of posturing and open mouth hissing, a few bites and strikes but no constriction. He seems to have a preference for men but thats just based on my personal observation.
I'm interested the most in getting him a good home. I am at least his third owner. He should be ready to go to a new home very soon, I'm aiming for the beginning of April.
Very clean bill of health. He was the only animal this couple kept for 3 years. No issues of any kind, he's just got an attitude.
No adoption fee, just tell me why you want him and what you think makes you a good owner for Mr. Hissy-McBitey-Pants. I'm not looking for a trade for him, i just want to get him a good home but would take an 09 boa of most species or a crested gecko in return if you have an animal you also happen to want to rehome.
Im located in Maryland and can travel to DC, VA, PA and DE. I also go to the HDG shows but could also go to one of the VA shows as well. Looking for someone local to take him preferably unless you wanted to pay shipping for him.
