Big Gunns wants advice from his fans

OK fans. Lets just say someone has a choice on keeping 2 pairs of 09 Lemonblasts, or he could keep a male 09 Superblast(Super Pastel pin). They both have around the same retail value....what would you do?

There is no right answer to this question. BG is just curious what his fans think and why.

I would keep the male superblast. Much better breeding potential on the short term. I guess it would depend on what females you had as well.

Well, I don't know any thing about you, and would be hardly considered a fan since I know nothing of you either way, but I would say super pastel pin. They are just so much nicer looking.

Please don't think that I am trying to be rude, I just don't like to make an opinion about anyone I do not know, and I am not one to go by what others say. I like to find out for myself.

Im sure you already have pastels and super pastels. If the retail is about the same I would keep the 2 pairs. The males will be ready to breed in the fall possibly. You can make a bunch more super blasts. Or breed them to a female bee (im sure you have one) and try for super spinners.

    More options, faster return.

    Hmm,

Depends on the rest of his collection and what he wants to do in the future.

For me, I'd keep the 2 pairs and be happy with the idea or the two females to add in more morphs to one and ( if desired ) breed the other pair to make another superblast and have a second male as a backup if something happened to one.

I just think it has a little more flexibility and built in backup plans - plus theres always the chance of a female pastel being scarily inexpensive next year to let him get an early start on superblasts - again with a second male as backup.

Then again I'm kind of conservative and have a male heavy collection so I may be overcompensating.

Super Blast.. Why feed two mouths when you've got one with same potential.

I like this idea myself. Can always sell one male... Lots of options!

I would trade them in for a pair of super-piebald mussuranas...........

You said there was no right answer.
