So what are you doing/did you do for St. Patrick's day?

If you celebrate this holiday, how did/are you celebrating? I was hoping to hang out with friends and drink a few green beers, but I'm at home, alone. Hubby has decided he's going to hang out with one of his friends instead so I'm drinking my own green beer at home, hanging out on bp.net.

I got a subadult female ball python het VPI axanthic 66% chance het albino in the mail, and had to drive to the closest UPS distribution place to pick up the male albino het VPI axanthic I found to go with her because there was a delay in shipping threatening to make him stay there overnight... That's been the extent of things happening in my world today. I haven't even had a drop of alcohol. It's kind of depressing, but I have a class at 8am tomorrow morning.

See, I don't even have work or class to go to tomorrow. I was so looking forward to at least hanging out with my husband and tossing back a few green beers, but he said his friend is having a bad day and needs to vent, so he's going over there after work. *sigh* And the rest of my friends either are already out celebrating or don't celebrate it at all. (Don't want to invite myself so I'm just stuck at home.)

Well, personally, I did just about the same thing as you. Don't feel too bad, it's just the way life pans out sometimes. All of my friends had prior plans, and my boyfriend was working a long day, so I was also home alone, but with out the bubbly fun.

Oh yea, I made sure I at least had a few beers in the fridge. I guess I'm just used to celebrating holidays in big groups. Holidays in my family have always been big occasions with lots of friends and family around. This holiday, I usually go out with my husband and a bunch of friends and listen to music and stuff, but I guess not this year. Sucks, but I guess I'm just going to have to suck it up and have another green beer.

Big Gunns is being a total loser hanging with you guys. He should be out with his fans, but they've passed a law. BG is not allowed out on holidays. The crowds are just too big for both BG's fans and the holiday crowd.
