    Removing J Clips????

I put a cage door on incorrectly and have to remove about half a dozen J-Clips.

How the frig do you get these things off?

I know that there is a tool that you can use, but I don't feel like buying one if I don't have to.

    Any suggestions?

On the bright side I am almost done with a sweet rat cage.

    Re: Removing J Clips????

Do you mean those flat staple like things? I use heavy wire snips and grab the corner(whichever corner is exposed enough to grab) and squish to open the clip repeatedly in all directions until I can twist it off.

I find with heavy wire snips, I can dismantle just about any sort of clip, staple, or nail. It just takes some time and patience so you don't ruin the cage wire.
