    thermostats

    is there a way to make your own thermostat??? is there a diy for this??? coz i just want to make my own out of just regular house thermostat. is this possible.

    No, I don't think it's possible to make a homemade therostat and nor would I want one because if your house burns down, your insurance won't cover homemade devices! You can get a Reptitemp 500R online for $25-$30 and they work pretty good in my opinion!

    The thermostat we use for our animals work like a house thermostat but are built differently. The reptitemp 500r as stated in the post above is a good reptile thermostat for single setups and is fairly inexpensive.
