Angry Wow! Here we go again!

WOW.. on animal planet they just had this show.. that was called aliens that kill...

it was about the burms and other exotic animals that are "taking over" FL..

basically said they need to stop the exotic pet trade and if we don't stop it now all of the US is screwed!.... well at least the last part of it that i saw was like that..

it makes me mad.. here they go again trying to scare people into making these animals illegal... i mean honestly if i didn't know what i know about these animals.. and if i didn't keep exotic pets.. then i would have completely believed everything they said on this show.. don't get me wrong i know that some of it is true.. but parts of it were just BS!...

like they said that in so many years the burms in Florida will be in around 30 other states.. which is bs... in my opinion.. cuzz in every state besides like 3-5 it gets below 0 during the winter months.. which would kill them... no doubt...

just thought i would blow off some smoke.. and see if anyone else on here saw it.. and what you all think

didn't Florida just experience a little bit of a cold run and most of those "aliens" are dying due to the cold temps?
    Cheers!

I watched a few moments of the show. When they said that if something wasn't done, these snakes and monitors would be in 36 states. They had them all the way to New York.

I wonder if they've ever heard of WINTER?

ugh i know! it pisses me off soo bad...in my chem 101 class we were talking about questions that were in the SAT when we took it in HS, and she started talking about how the new popular question was the whole florida snake thing, and how snaked needed to stop being bred cause they were going to eat everything in the everglades and go up north....and i was like "excuse me mrs george, but do you OWN snakes?" and she was like "no, why?" and i was like "because if you did you would know that snakes die when its too cold outside, so if they were to go up north they would most likely die in the winter"...needless to say, she kicked me out that day for being "disrespectful" and questioning her "inteligence"

Ignorance is bliss. Good for you. Maybe the teacher won't be so quick to believe what she sees or hears, but will research things before she brings it to class.

    Bravo!
