Talking Is this a lock for sure?

Sorry for the cellphone pic, but I just had to capture this moment. He moved a slight bit when I opened up the tub for a better look so it might not really look like a good lock.

She was tail wagging earlier and not too long ago. He's been trying to lock up with her this evening, I even saw him wrap his tail around hers but she was slithering around so he didn't get a good grip. I just took this pic not even 5 minutes ago

To me he looks to be too high. Not by much though.

That's right near where her vent was, but like I said earlier when I opened up the tub he moved up a little bit.

I don't think it's quite a lock, but he's getting the idea! I'm no expert, but I've noticed the boys often stick their tails up in the air, and/or wrap around the females - like this:

    Super lock!

Doesn't quite look like a lock yet, but it would seem they are definitely warming up. Good luck!

Eggs are great... but when they pip is the coolest time, especially when you are playing the odds game. It's like getting a scratcher lottery ticket on Christmas morning.
