Normal or morph?
I just rescued my second BP and her coloration is a lot lighter than my other Normal so I was wondering if someone could clarify if she is a normal or some sort of morph. I'm morph ignorant. Thanks in advance.

Re: Normal or morph?
I think you have a very pretty light normal. Get a pastel and breed it to a pastel and I bet you would have a chance at very lovely pastels.

Re: Normal or morph?
I have 2 normals which have the same light coloration. Great normal.
I thought there was a chance mine were fires, maybe you could look into that. I think fires will have a white belly though. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Normal or morph?
Normal, but I would try and prove her out with an Albino. I have noticed that the Het Albinos usually have a lot of white (not tan) outlining their patterns.

Re: Normal or morph?
Thanks everyone. I figure this is one of those posts that regulars to this sight see so often it makes them a little crazy.(Along with NOT EATING and WHAT DO I DO!!!!!) I figured she was normal (like any BP is normal, right?), but was wondering. I'm only a couple of years into herps so I doubt that I will be breeding any time soon.

Re: Normal or morph?
That is a really nice normal. The thing about normals, is that sometimes they can be het for something. The local pet store in my area sale all of the 66% and 50% possible hets as normals unless they have some sort of marker or difference from the normal appearing animals in the clutch.
Premises:
Dangerous animals shall be banned.
Ball Pythons are not dangerous.
Conclusion:
Therefore, Ball Pythons shall not be banned.
