    what happens next

Im new to this site and new to ball python breeding all together. Although I have owned snakes for quite some time I have never tried to breed. I just recieved a female that has been with 3 males this year according to the breeder that I got her from. I decided to try to palpate her today. Im no expert but I could definately feel the folicles. No doubt about it, 100%, could feel 3 very easily. I have no idea how the whole folicle/ovulation/breeding process works. Could someone explain to me the process that the female goes through once she has been intoduced to the male? And how long until she ovulates(ball park)?Does feelinf folicles mean she has a good chance of being/getting gravid? Also any helpful info that I may need would be greatly appreciated!

Follicles will develop and get larger up to the day they ovulate. Once they ovulate the follicles turn from hard to soft. At this point she is pregnant. There are chances she will absorb them as well, so at this time since you still feel them i would keep putting a male with her if possible.

About 2-3 weeks before they ovulate they will have a extreme glow to thier color which makes it look like a new snake.

Once they ovulate they will shed 2-3 weeks after wards called their Post Ovulation Shed(POS). Once they complete their POS you will want to mark on calender 25-40 days of when to expect eggs to be laid.

Once you get eggs laid you will want to incubate them at a 88-90 at 90%+ Humidity for 55-60 days. This can be done artificially with a built incubator or maternal.
