Three weeks ago, I picked up a ball python from someone I knew, and was not taking care of it. It was purchased as a baby four years ago. It is only around 26 inches(it was obviously way underfed). When I got it, it had eyecaps on both eyes, and the shedding was awful. I cant help but to feel sorry for the poor thing, I want to bring it back to full health and let it get to its full potential. But what I was wanting to know, is if it will ever be able to reach a good size from being 4 years old and barely two feet long from being underfed? I have fed it 6 live large mice in the past couple weeks, and never has a problem eating. Its body size has increased as far as round is concerned, but can anybody tell me if this little guy will ever be able to grow correctly in length?
