heating problem

hey guys i have my new baby bp in a 20L tank i have a 60W heat bulb on it is that to little or to high? im not sure i dont have a temp gun or thermometer yet i gotta get one....... i mean it seems pretty hot in there..... thanks for reading

i would say it would keep it in mid to high 80's under the lamp and around it

If you don't have a thermometer then neither you nor I could determine if it is too hot or too cold.

Do yourself a favor and get a thermometer tomorrow. The Home depot, lowes, and walmart all carry the accurite weather station indoor outdoor thermometer for around $11.

yea i just got the snake a couple of day ago so i havnt gotten around to it and i just used the thermometer from one of my corns tanks im just waiting for it to work lol

Make sure to get the equipment before the snake in the future, or at least at the same time. Too long of a delay and you could have a sick snake and an expensive vet visit.
Get yourself an under tank heater because you can't always keep that light on and temps are gunna drop at night, but hopefully not too low. Your snake needs to maintain 85-90 degree spot in the tank 24/7.

It's always good to get everything set up before you actually get the bp, or any animal for the matter. You need to measure the temps before you add the bp to make sure everything is in good shape and around the correct temp.
