    Yellow belly x Yellow belly

    Can anybody tell me what i will get in a clutch from two yellow bellies? Im kind of new to balls and was thinking about breeding. I have bread before but only corns now I want to breed balls. Thank you for any help you could provide

    25% normal, 25% ivory and 50% yellow belly.
    Premises:
    Dangerous animals shall be banned.
    Ball Pythons are not dangerous.
    Conclusion:
    Therefore, Ball Pythons shall not be banned.

    Ivorys, Yellow bellies, and normals. each egg has a 25% chance at being Ivory, 25% being Normal and 50% chance at being YB

    Ok so now the question.. you breed your 2 yellowbelly and get the Ivory.
    Lets say you get the male ivory just cause that is the best in this case IMO.
    Do you sell / trade your 2 yellowbellys? or just the male and keep the female for future stuff?

    IMHO keep both the male and female YB..Nothing says sure thing like a back up male..Say your Ivory doesn't breed his first year or his second..YOu got rid of your only other way to produce more ivory's (unless you buy another breeder) then you still run the same risk as with the ivory.

    I agree with Ed on this, you never get rid of proven breeders unless you have another pair of proven breeders to replace them with. Lots of stuff can happen between now and then.
