Baby Male Pastel.. Should I Go For It??
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/pet/1610281146.html
He's the one both pictures on the bottom left & right. I could really use him to breed with my female Pastel for some Supers, what do you guys think?

No, no, no don't do it. I swear anyone who has to put keywords in their post is just trying to get as many viewers he can so he can sucker them in to normals for het albino prices, pastels that are just light normals, etc. I just am very weiry of craigslist and you have to consider why hes posted it the way he did.

Its 75 bucks...
you can go to a show and pick up a adult male for 125...
Then you can see how well they look as adults... idk..

If he's not too far away, I'd go for it. Check out his setup, and you'll get a feeling for if you should go through with it or not. I wouldn't hesitate if I went over there and felt comfortable with the guy. I've had some great CL experiences, but you HAVE to be discerning.

I agree with the above post if you want to check it out it won't cost you anything. Also if you feel him out you may be able to get it even cheaper once you are there in person. It looks to me that this guy might be a breeder and just trying to ''dump'' his leftover stuff and that is the only way to do so on CL. I got my biggest female for $30 from CL and it was a steal as far as I'm concerned. You have to be careful, but you also have to be careful at shows and pet stores.

if you like them go for it. 75 bucks is a good price for a male pastel.

Re: Baby Male Pastel.. Should I Go For It??
$75 is way too much for that snake. I think you would be nuts to a such a poor example of the morph to your collection when you can get really nice ones for around the same price.

Re: Baby Male Pastel.. Should I Go For It??
i would go and look at it in person. a lot of snakes look better in person. my pastel i just bought looked amazing in his pic but when he arrived he looked even better and he was 150 shipped. 75 is pretty good. i only trust reputable breeders online, not CL.
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.
