when you clean all your snake tanks, think your done, you go out, to come home to find that one of your snakes left you a present, then you clean again go to bed wake up then find three more have left presents in their clean tubs and tanks??

CAN'T STAND IT!
I finally switched from paper to coconut, just so that I don't have to deal with the smell, or having to clean the entire thing every time, just a quick spot check.

This past weekend it seemed like my male Cali King defecated against the plastic on purpose just because I was watching and he knew that I was going out of town in the next 30 seconds.........grrrrrr

They time that stuf you know.. I have a male that can't stand water in his water bowl.. I fill it up..he gets a drink then...knocks it over.

Clean his tub, knocks it over..

lol.....I have woke up from a dead sleep in the middle of the night due to a urate/pee episode. UGH....had to clean it up right away...lol

My favorite is our new beardie...he is such a little terd (no pun intended)....I clean the cage and he poos like 2 and a half seconds later.

those are the joys of caring for reptiles kinda makes me wish i could toilet train them sometimes.

i was thinking of switching over to aspen but i got so much newspaper sitting around i don't wanna just throw it away seems like a waste to me.

my boa like to knock over her water dish too when i fill it but with her as soon as the lids open shes out and wants to hang out as she drips the water on the floor she was swimming in shes smart and quick.

Feeding them is SO much more rewarding than cleaning their enclosures. There is of course the obvious fact that feeding them is just more enjoyable. But I think what gets me more is the good feeling I get on feeding day when I climb in to bed knowing that all of my snakes have a full tummy, and knowing that it will stay that way for 5-7 days. When I clean their tubs, well, I climb in to bed knowing that all of my snakes had a clean tub at some point in time earlier that day. It just isn't the same.

Kc thats so true about feeding but right now a bunch of my snakes are off feed so it kind of came as a shocker to me that all went to the bathroom i cleaned them and then the most of them went again. yea i can't wait to be back in feeding and hopefully incubating eggs.
