    PE Stripe?

Have any of you heard of this? I was checking out breeder and ball python websites today and am totally in love with the look of this snake by Pro Exotics Reptiles. I even emailed to inquire and am going to have to push hubby for my cage set up for my birthday so I can bring one home!! I will post a link if I am allowed, but still not sure if this is okay to do.

    Re: PE Stripe?

So it's just a stripe that was proven out by Pro Exotics?

    Or am I missing something?

    Re: PE Stripe?

I don't know how to post a pic, but here is a link:http://www.proexotics.com/pics_11_17_09/pe_stripe.jpg Does not look like any other stripe I have ever seen and I really, really like it. Not sure if it's proven, still waiting for answers to my inquiry, but if I'm seeing it right they have 10 (2.8).

I've seen a lot of imports on KS with that look. And Outback had something called a "tan stripe" that looked like that as well.

I've seen the PE Stripes in person, and wasn't very impressed. I must say everybody at Pro Exotics is very nice and all but out of 22 bp's that I own 6 of them came from PE and they are the only problem feeders, and mouse feeders that I've got.

Thanks for letting me know, this is the kind of feed back that'll help keep a noob outta trouble (if she listens). Thanks again!

    Re: PE Stripe?

I think a g-stripe would be a better choice. A recessive trait, the genetic stripe has got to be one of my favorites.

    Re: PE Stripe?

Beautiful, just not my thing. I have come to really like semi-reduced patterned Balls with few to no "alien eyes". The PE Stripe in the pic above, has a really cool pattern in my eyes and if they are not proven and/or I can't have that one (or it doesn't look like that in person), then it's not for me. I am not worried about genetic potential because I do not plan to breed, but I will wait for my perfect snake. Your G-stripe is really awesome, though
