    My male is female!

I got my "male" normal last August and he has been growing like a weed! He is 7 months and 626 grams. I just took the breeders word as I never popped a snake before. I learned how to pop on youtube and popped him. I was curious because of the size of him. When I popped him, it looked like a female to me so I took him to my local retile store and they confirmed it! He is actually a she!!!

I got her from my sister in law's boyfriend. He bred his snakes and has a large collection(about 50) so I just took is word on it! They are not together anymore. I am okay with him being female! I am going to a show on sunday and was going to buy a female but now I am shopping for a male! I want a spider!

Yeah, that sucks when that happens expecially if you were looking to breed them and its the wrong sex. That happens at our show a lot, thats why we recommend having a different vendor who is well known pop the snake, and if the sex is wrong go and get your money back if you over paid for it.

WOW! the mistake is usually a female that's becomes a male. When you pop sometimes you don't get a male to show and think it's a female. But how do you pop a female to make it look like a male? He had to see something to think it was a male. what the scent glands?
