    UTH and Alum Tape

So just a quick question on this.
I have my spider male in a 10 gal glass tank. I want to move him to a tub.
If I have a Zoo Med UTH it has a white sheet on it that you pull off to expose the sticky stuff. So it is safe to use with this white sheet still attached so that I do not have to stick it to the tub?

I leave the white bit on but some people pull it off and cover the sticky with aluminum tape and then tape it onto the tub. Either way works.
