Meet Snakey my new Spider Ball

Hey all! I just picked up my first ball a few days ago. Here are two pictures of him. He is a Spider male that I purchased from The Painted Python here in AZ. This guy is doing wonderfully! He ate his first F/T last night with no issues!! I am very excited to learn about about the Ball Python and hopefully sometime soon get a nice pastel girl to make some bumblebees.

I am still trying to get a grasp on what markings and coloring makes one speciman better than the next, so let me know what you think. I am very happy with this guy!

    Thanks,
    Clancy

Re: Meet Snakey my new Spider Ball

Thank you. I am very happy with him. Nothing but a slight wobble that if you did not know what you were looking for you would not see. He ate great on the first try. He is very docile and calm. Settled right into his new home.
I hope to get a pastel or some female that will go nice with him in the next 6 months or so....or just skip the female and get a bumblebee!!

Yeah mine is a PIG...He is the only one that didn't refuse to eat this winter. Right now he is getting ready to shed, I will try to get some pix of him after he sheds
