    Nice finds for this time of year!

    I am going out to scout a new herping site in the morning. This one is in/near the marshes, so I have high hope for it being a prime spot of water snakes.

    I am ready for April. I am getting bored taking pictures of birds

    In my experience water snakes are most easily come across around bayous in urban areas. And I mean urban! I've found several species in the middle of the city.

    Awesome! Love the copper-head! It's kinda early ,but I saw a little garter snake basking by my firewood stack this afternoon.

    Actually, we're closing in on flipping season. Just a few more weeks and flipping is at its best in SE Texas, and I think the same counts for Broussard.
