Incubator Project
Well needing a bigger bator means having to wire and test and do it from the ground up.. I'll keep this thread updated with pics and try to make it more of a how to than anything.
In the beginning

OK this is just a question, no practical applications....yet...
but is it possible to make a incubator out of say an igloo cooler, for maybe one or 2 clutches? Like run the cord of the flexwat through the nozzle, seal it with caulking or something and just open the lid once a day to circulate the air?
Never tried this, and I dont have any clutches, just an idea...

Sure is.. In fact I think there are plans for just such an animal on here.. remember the incubators job is merely to maintain temp so really any insulated box would do.. Its just how well it keeps the temps is what your looking for.

I've actually used a foam shipping box with a heating pad taped to the top when I used to dabble in beardies - worked just fine.
