Confirmation on male BP breeding age?

Soooooo, think I figured out why Hank hasn't been interested in food these past few weeks...discovered what I *think* is a little sperm plug...but just to confirm: Is it possible for a 6 month, 500 g male to be looking for a little lovin'?

ps. Is it not unusual for males to be a bit pissy about the situation? He's been tearing up his tub at night and when I got him out not to long ago, he hissed up a storm as if to say, "If you're not here to help, then get out of my way!" LOL!

i know people who have bred a 400g male and have had viable clutches, so yes i think its totally possible. funny thou is u get some that are awesome breeders and some that wont breed till there 4th year of life.
