so my female norm.ball. striked and in the process of constricting got pinch bit and it drew a tiny amount of blood but now looks like a small i guess swell or bruise kinda bump?

i am getting her wound healing spray tomorrow but i just want to know is there any indications i could keep an eye out for to know for sure if there may be infection?

the swelling is norm if it was a mouse or rat.. it happens to me and my wife when a rat bites us.. but it never gets infected.. just a lil red and then turns a bruise color.. i do believe a rat bite is more of a pressure puncture than anything .. but i would wait for someone else to post in here.. but imo your snake will be fine .. next time u should break its back before feeding or kill it urself .... a small book across the neck works just fine.. quick and painless.. unless you dont break the neck all the way.. then it lays there and just breathes lol ...

dont know how to tell if it is infected on a snake.. but im sure it wouldnt be asap more like over a few days

you can get some neosporin but without the pain reliever and put it on there. I personally would even switch to paper towels while it heals as that would help to keep it cleaner. If it starts to smell....then it is infected...but she will probably be fine.

As she sheds the scar will probably be less and less noticiable. But in the future I always stun my feeders so that they cannot bite. There is also a sticky on here as how to hold a feeder so that doesnt happen.

If its just a little pin prick bite just put a tiny dab of neosporin (without pain reliever) and it should heal quickly. If you notice it getting more swollen, irritated, secreting anything, take her to the vet.
