Accu rite is good. You can get one at wal mart by the paint and stuff like that. Just ask someone theyll help you. They are just shy of 13 bucks including tax.

    Good Luck!

You'll never find that Accurite on the Wal-Mart site.

Go to the store, and down the isle where mailboxes and outdoor thermometers are, and you'll find them.

There is even an excellent sticky here somewhere to make a good thing better by modifying the Accurite.

Re: so many different ways to measure the heat!!!!???

I personally use the Accurite from walmart and i found they are pretty close on the temp they read(with in like 3 degrees) I need to get a coupler batteries I think I had one just run out of get go which I can't complain it ran for like 2-3 year now on the battery it came with lol.. I need to get about 2 more of them for the incubator and the QT rack I was given ( the black plastic 6 tub one. My friend got it with a bunch of snake and gace itto me since he don't like it it liek a 28- or 32 quart deal so I figure i can use it for when I get new snakes or as an ove flow rack until I can make more room in the reptile room to place it.
