    Good deed of the day

I went up to my parents house, and met their neighbors. A week later I find out that they bought a ball python, from A mall near them ( Town center to the locals). Of course my first reaction is that they do not have a ton of money to afford everything a ball python needs, and that the mall in question takes horrible care of all of its animals and wouldn't sell them the right things in the first place. Each time I have gone in there I have pointed out a dead animal.

So, I decide to drop by. What they had was this gourgess little ball python, who looked better than any ball python I have ever seen in that store. It popped as a female to top it off!

but... As I guessed, they had her in a ten gallon tank with a heat rock, tiny water bowl, and on Cedar bedding.

So I ask them if its alright if I gave them a few things to help them out, and they say yes. So I gave them an entire 30 gallon set up, complete with hides, Decor, cool looking water bowl, cage locks, over head light, everything sprayed with PAM and a ranco thermostat. Tomorrow ill be worming the little gal with some Panacur.

I really feel good about myself now and they still drown me with thank yous

    Just thought id share

I felt so good when I left, especially to see that little ball python exploring her tank and having a better life

    Thanks!

Also, I forgot to mention that the ranco was hooked up to flexwatt under the tank, so it had heat as well. ( Just so no one is confused as to what they used for heat, the heatrock is going back to the store)

Hopefully they'll understand that those are the things ball pythons need. Did you explain what temps and humidity levels the snake needed to stay healthy? That'll probably be the first thing that goes wrong with one of their new reptiles, is a malfunction with the rheostat/ thermostat. It's awesome that you did that, though You saved a life

Yes, I did an entire walkthrough for them on how to take care of their little girl, and what things like humidity and heat are needed for. I told them if they ever have any questions to just hit up my cell phone.
