How do You guys do it...?!
Well I was trying to take a contrast picture between my Pastel and Axanthic. But they were just not having it! They wouldnt stop moving! The axanthic gave up and stop moving for a bit, but the pastel wouldnt stop moving, his head is missing in all the shots lol. This is the best shot I could take
I couldnt even play around with the zoom and flash because they would start moving right away. Just how do you guys do it?!

a tripod and a remote shutter release.. you can focus the camera and use both hands to pose the snakes then just get your hands out of the shot press this garage door opern looking thing and snap you took a pic..
you never have to touch the cam once it's set up..

Usually mine don't start getting brave until they have been out for a bit. There is this precious moment where they don't move very much and after that, it is pretty hard to get them to cooperate XD

I have learned If you take the snake and it's bin away from the heat source for five minutes before you take the picture they are slowed don't enough to hold still and not so cold as they go for the closest heat source.
