Housing cresties?

I picked up 2 cresties a few weeks back.. my harley is about 5 months old and the tiger/dalmation is around 6-7. not sure the sex yet, they are in different setups right now.. But I'd like to put them both in a 20L I did up. I posted pics on here awhile back. I've had them both out together and they didnt pay any mind to each other. Should I be ok to house them in the 20L? If you want to house them together you are going to want them to be the same size.

I house my girls together with no problem, just watch as they grow to see what gender they are. I'm terrible with sexing so far so I can't say much about sexing them yet lol

If both are males they will soon start to fight if placed together (by the time they are 9-12 months old or when they begin to reach sexual maturity). If one is male and one is female they should get along but would very soon need to be separated so that they do not breed too early (you definitely do not want a female that is too young or too small to become gravid as it could result in calcium/nutritional crashes and/or egg binding). If both are females then they should be able to go together and stay together indefinitely.

Also, both should be very close in size before being placed together so that the larger gecko does not dominate the smaller one.

thank you both for the info.. they are not the same size is body mass the tiger/dal is a lil bigger, but they are both about 5-6 inces long nose to tip of tail.. would that be ok? I guess I'll have to wait to sex them, b/c right now they look the same on that end lol.. thank you again.

if there the same size and as long as there not both male you should be okay if unsure of sex keep them separate

It's not length but weight that needs to be the same or very close. If they look different in size visually then they should be kept apart for now.

Even girls can fight so weight is so important and if a male is entered girls can fight too.

At young ages u can get the girl to young pregnant and this can cause health issues or death. They need to be 35grams before breeding.

I would sex them first if u can take a good macro shot of the area for pores I can tell u if it’s male or female.

Either way if u ever put cresties together watch them well and give them plenty of plants to hide in.

They are arboreal so I assume the 20gl is on end to give more height than length?

Would love to see pics of the babies!

Ok sweet, I'll have to take pics later of the pores my Digi Cam blows my fiance has a better one... And yes the 20L is standing on end.. Heres some pics I posted them in a different thread, just didnt feel like lookin for it, lol.. They are month or so old ( the pics I mean )
