A question about odd behavior
This is not so much a question of husbandry as I have checked it and its all just fine. More a question to those more experienced in the different ways a Boa can act.
For no real reason this morning when I walked by my RTB's tank and leaned down to look at her temps and humidity she happened to be half out of her hide and struck at me hitting the glass, twice. She is in no way an aggressive snake and I have never been struck at by her before. Any other owners witnessed this behavior before?

Re: A question about odd behavior
Hmm, she ate two mice this weekend... I guess I will have to surprise her with another and throw a small rat her way this weekend and make that the new law of the land.

Re: A question about odd behavior
Yes, some of mine do that too. It is nothing to worry about, unless they hurt themselves on the glass.

Re: A question about odd behavior
Hanging out of the hide waiting to ambush whatever came before it and it was you..Natural response, To eliminate it from happening you might jiggle the enclosure before peeking as ya don't want any facial damage done..
