Re: Norm, Cinny or Granite
For threads like this, I would ask a simple question of the original poster: If you think it is something other than a normal, what makes you think that? Instead of asking what it is, why not explain why you think it is something other than a normal, and see if people agree or have other thoughts. If you cannot think of any reason why it might be something other than a normal, then......it's probably a normal.

Re: Norm, Cinny or Granite
I think his scales are visually defined like a granite, and his coloration looks like some of the cinnamons I've seen on the web sites and at a show in Atlanta.

Re: Norm, Cinny or Granite
Normal. In a granite there would be a lot more 'speckling' of the pattern- granites will not have the big blobs of black in the side markings, or at least, not as much and not without a lot of smaller black speckles as well. If it were a cinnamon the head would be more faded and the pattern would be different, there would be a lot more 'floating' side pattern, and a lot more flames. Also, check the belly- I'm betting in this snake it has black speckling, which a cinnamon or granite will usually not have. Have you looked at the Hunter's Guide to the Morphs stickied at the top of this forum? If not, check it out, it will help you identify the more subtle morphs

Nothing about it looks cinnamon (head isn't close to resembling a cinnie head) or granite (no granite marks in the side pattern) to me. These two links may help you. For future reference, it's stickied at the top of this particular form and it's called Hunters Guide to the Morphs

Re: Norm, Cinny or Granite
flip itover and have a look at it's belly. Both cinnie and genetic granits have clear bellies, cinnes more so than granites.
That snake has no features to suggest it's anyhting other than a normal.
