Okay, as far as quarantining goes, you're supposed to keep a new arrival or sick reptile in a separate room from your established collection.
What if you had a sick reptile on one side of the room (along with no other reptiles) and your collection on the other side of the room. Would it still be possible for your reptile to spread a disease or parasites on to the other side of the room where the collection is? For mites, I don't see how they could travel as far because of how small they are and the carpeting, but for an disease like RI would a reptile only be affected if it is close to the enclosure of the sick reptile?
