Allmost done with 15qt. tub mini-rack.

Here's a small rack that I just got done building. It will hold 8 15qt. tubs.
I still have some finishing work to do like put some edge banding on the top of the two sides and put those white screw covers on the screw heads that are recessed, and maybe a back. I cut the melamine my self with a circular saw. I added a kick plate on the bottom for looks and I kept a gap on the top to allow for the cords to fit through. I left around 3/16" gap between tubs and shelf. I still have to add the Flexwatt Heat Tape and more tubs.Came out pretty nice I think!
    What do you think?

Looks nice! How much did it cost you for wood, tubs, and heat tape?

Wood was free! Tubs are $3.99 each but I could go cheaper, and Flexwatt will run me about $40.00. Not to bad!

I have had the wood for years now. I got a bunch of melamine from my old neighbor before he moved. He asked me if I wanted it and I know I would use it some day. The rest will be used to make a shelving unit for my sons closet.

I have a entertainment center laying around and its big enough for 8 16qt tubs. Just waiting for the right time to use it. Gotta love free wood ya never know when you may need it.

Exactly, I always take it and store it some where. I built my 35 foot bridge in my backyard with a lot of free wood!
