Tub questions...
I've read numerous threads on tub sizes (before anyone tells me to do a search ), but they don't really cover the ones I'm working with... I have two racks, soon to be three, which hold a variety of sizes. One rack holds 32qt or 6qt tubs, the other can hold either 16qt, 28qt or 41qt Sterilites, and I'll soon be getting a 41qt Boaphile rack. Right now I know two of them (the juvie BPs in 16qts) need to be upgraded - but I'm not sure which tubs they should be in, and/or if everyone else is in a good size. Any input would be much appreciated!!
Here's what everyone is using today...
41qt - 2600g BP, 700g Corn
32qt - 1850g BP (she likes a smaller space), 700-800g BPs x 3, 400-600g Corns x3
28qt - 800-900g BPs x 2 (males)
16qt - 500-600g BPs x 2, 40g Corn
6qt - hatchling Hognose
Here's what I'm thinking, when I get the Boaphile rack in a few weeks... I'll put all the corns and the baby Hognose in the 32qt/6qt rack, the biggest BPs in the 41qt Boaphile, and the rest will be in 28qts in the other rack. Whaddya think??

Re: Tub questions...
You should be fine to bump the 500-600g upto 28 or 32. I use 32's upto around 2000g and move up to the 41's. Again it depends on the particular BP's personality .

Re: Tub questions...
Thanks! I'll put the 500-600g BPs in 28qts for now, and re-configure things when I get the new rack. You're right about the individual snake's personality being a factor, especially when dealing with different kinds of snakes. My corns are long and thin, but much more active than a BP, so they appreciate more room... and while Nerissa the BP is pretty big, I noticed she was a bit overwhelmed in the 41qt (I moved her to a 32qt).

I guess they like it snug & secure. Only problem is that I can't fit a hide large enough for her in the 32qt... But I guess that doesn't really matter, since she only sleeps on top of hides. She's a weirdo, LOL.

Re: Tub questions...
Having racks,I pretty much only use hides upto about 500g ( again depending on the bp).
