If not mistaken usually 2-3 years old and 300g or more for females, granted larger females will have larger clutches. Each female is different and you will know when they are fully ready.

Ok, I was thinking it would be much lighter, as I've had this trio for about 2 years (were not babies when I got them) and they're only around 150g. I breed corns , but knew nothing about these, thanks.

The weight is not set in stone, ive had 2 year old females 200g dropping infertile eggs due to being sexually mature. They are capable of breeding at 200grams but i preferred 300g mark to be sure the females were up to size for a larger clutch.

Thanks again. I feel the same about my corns. They say 300g, but I didn't breed 5 females last year because the were right at 300. This year they're all about 550g
