    BP Naming

While looking around the forum I've noticed a lot of people refer to their snakes by their mutation colour... just wondering if anyone besides me has a name for their BP?

My guy (or girl - not sexed) is Fester. Random name I thought was cute for a snake.

    Re: BP Naming

my normals name is KingSpade because he has a spade in the middle of his back.

All of my snakes have names, infact, all of my animals have names, usually from disney movies (Lady, Hexxus, Fern, Flounder, Spike etc.) but when talking to friends i do refer to them as the retic, jag carpets or normal by their "morphs/colors" cuz i find its easier for eveyrone else to understand which snake i am talking about

    Re: BP Naming

All 8 of my current ones have names, as will any future ones.

I've always named my animals, from the 5 or 6 wild robins I helped foster who were all tweety-bird, to my hamsters and gerbils, to the mice and birds, I even named the wild spider who overwintered with us a few years ago.

For my BP names, see below.

    Gale
    1.0 Low-white Pied - Yakul | 1.0 Granite het Pied - Nago
    1.0 Mojave - Okoto | 1.0 Vanilla - Kodama
    1.0 Pastel - Koroku | 1.0 Fire - Osa
    0.1 het Pied - Toki | 0.1 het Pied - Mauro
    0.1 Mojave - Kina | 0.1 Blushback Cinnamon - Kuri
    0.1 Fire - Mori | 0.1 Reduced Pinstripe - Sumi
    0.1 Pastel - Yuki | 0.1 Dinker Normal - Akashi
    0.1 Ghana Giant Normal - Tatari | 0.1 Dinker Normal - Kaiya

    Re: BP Naming

My Lemon Pastel was named after Lemony Snickets. It's kind of after the color. I wanted to do something that had to do with the lemon part because I love love love lemons! I wanted to name her Warhead, but my BF wouldn't let me, lol.

Our het pied is kind of named after his morph. Omicron is the letter before Pi in the greek alphabet. So since he's a het... It fits.

Wiggles is an inside joke to us and our close friends. It certaintly fits him though, he can book it!

    Re: BP Naming

Named everybody here. Mary Jane because she's a spider. Thought I was clever going with Spiderman's girlfriend/wife. Malcolm sports an X in his inking pattern. Hubert is named after a Futurama character, Hubert J. Farnsworth. Any babies will be named unless I sell.
    1.0 Normal Ball "Hubert" (617g)
0.1 Spider Ball "Mary Jane" (280g)
1.0 Pastel Ball "Malcolm" (coming soon)
    1.0 overweight Boston Terrier "Bandit"

    Re: BP Naming

You have a good point. I think it's cause people don't know my big BP is named Paradox (my daughter came up with this name not even knowing about the paradox morphs). And they don't know my little BP is named Charade nor that my BCI is named Enigma (got a naming convention going here - my next snake is going to be named either Sophistry or Dilemma).

Naming convention changes with the corns and goes with their colors - Phoenix and Ember (tho both are in shed right now and look neither fiery nor smoldering).
    2.0 Normal BP (Paradox, Charade)
    1.0 Nicaraguan Boa (Enigma)
    1.0 Cube Stripe Corn (Ember)
    0.1 Motley Sunglow Corn (Phoenix)
    0.0.1 Sinaloan Milk (Pastiche)
