    Male vs Female

Does it matter which snake is the het? I fell in love with a Pied F (she comes with a PH male) but I heard that that you get better results if the female is the het. Is that true?

    Re: Male vs Female

The results are the same despite the gender. Most people breed visual males (or 100% males) to multiple het or possible het females.

Think of it this way... If your male happens not to be a het then you've "wasted" (not a good word but all I can think of at the moment) a perfectly good adult female Pied.

But if you breed a visual or 100% het male to multiple het or possible het females.. You have a greater chance of producing a visual Pied.

You can buy multiple 100% het Pied females for the price of 1 visual Pied female.
