    Would a Female reabsorb if...

    its too cold?? i thought i felt follicles a while ago, this particular girl still locks with males and seemed to be building, but i cant find eggys anymore =[

    It could be possible that she ovulated. Once they ovulate the follicles become eggs and are not hard anymore. They are actually hard to feel at that point in development. I would hold her up by her first half and let the lower half dangle until she loosens up. At that point you should be able to see the individual lumps.

    thank you! ima do that later on tonight when i get home, my room hit 60 degrees and the thermometers in some of the cages were as low as 69

    Well, what happened? I was talking with a bigger breeder the other day and he believes that females will hold off on ovulating if it isn't warm enough to incubate thier eggs. It's kinda funny actaully cause I had a couple female whos' follicles seemed to stop growing. As soon as I started turning the temps up I had one of the girls in question ovulate. So I believe that lower temps do have something to do with delayed ovulations.
